The impact of informal settlements on water quality

Kalpana, Chemical Engineering lecturer and PhD candidate with Future Water, presented her research findings at the 14th IWA Water Reclamation and Reuse Conference, in Cape Town. Her research sheds light on how runoff from informal settlements impacts water quality, and emphasises the urgent need for inclusive, proactive water management, that brings together diverse role players to create sustainable solutions.
